Margaret Cho Given A Pass

As liberals usually do. If you're a leftist, you can call Down Syndrome people "retards."
Groups advocating for the mentally disabled have told us - repeatedly - in recent years that the word "retard" is offensive and shouldn't be used.

Tell that to Margaret Cho.

The far-left comedienne recently appeared on Bravo TV’s “Watch What Happens Live” talk show with host Andy Cohen to discuss, among other things, the possibility of having a baby someday.

“My period comes like twice a month. My eggs are jumping ship,” she said. “Seriously, they’re like, ‘the last one out’s a retard.”

"I get worried about that, as an older woman, I don’t necessarily want to have a retard,” she said.

Pretty offensive, no doubt. So why hasn't there been any outrage from the very same groups which told us not to use the word "retard" in this context?

Breitbart News reached out to four separate groups which advocate for people with Down syndrome - one national organization and three city-specific chapters. Did they have a reaction to Cho's appearance? Anger? Outrage? Sadness?

How 'bout crickets? None of the groups bothered to respond.
