Will Democrats Become the Anti-Immigrant Party?

Democrats have always favored immigration from Latin American countries because these people are ready made victims whom Democrats expect will be poverty stricken Democratic voters for generations.

But, no more perhaps. A significant majority of Hispanics like President Bush.

Republicans should pay attention. Latino voters are culturally conservative. And Latinos assimilate very well. Families that have been here a couple of generations are just as successful as any other demographic.
