Ted Kennedy has made a life out of evading punishment for the laws he breaks. Perhaps now, he has stepped into a noose he can't escape, because his family name won't win him any favors, his family's money can't buy off any witnesses, and he can't threaten political retaliation.
That's because he is being investigated by the United States Civil Rights Commission regarding his interference with a circuit court's proceedings.
The commission can't and won't do anything to him. But by bringing his malfeasance into public view, he might actually get knocked down a few pegs.
