Not Even Illinois Buys Obama's Job Creation Data

Drip, drip, drip.

More than $4.7 million in federal stimulus aid so far has been funneled to schools in North Chicago, and state and federal officials say that money has saved the jobs of 473 teachers.

Problem is, the district employs only 290 teachers.

This time, it's Barack Obama's hometown newspaper that's jeopardizing its Obama Approved Legitimate News Source status.

This is becoming a pattern.

Even if Obama's demonstrably inflated job creation numbers were true, he's still 3.5 million jobs behind what he promised. Come to think of it, 3.5 million is the number of jobs lost since his stimulus package was signed. So he's actually about 7 million jobs behind. It's tempting to think that these people aren't quite as smart as they believe themselves to be.
