How To Save CNN

Jame Taranto would classify this in the category of "questions nobody is asking." My question is: Who the hell cares? Don Surber does, but only as an intellectual exercise.

CNN is a joke.

Here is how to fix it: Put me in charge. I know nothing about cable TV news. That puts me ahead of the jokers running the joint because they know less than nothing.

Surber's big idea is to feature Jack Cafferty. That's probably better than Rick Sanchez, Wolf Blitzer or Anderson Cooper. But if Jack Cafferty is the best thing CNN has going for it, they should clean house entirely and start from scratch.
