Will Republicans Pick Up A Senate Seat In New York

Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand looked vulnerable after New York governor David Paterson appointed her to Hillary Clinton's vacant seat. But the Republicans never showed much interest in challenging for the seat. According to a new poll, they might win it anyway.
In the Snap Poll, Republican Joseph DioGuardi edged Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, 51 percent to 46 percent. Respondents favored Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer over Republican Jay Townsend, 50 percent to 48 percent, in the other Senate race.
Snap Poll? Rochester Business Journal. I don't know anything about either and have no idea how believable this poll is.
