Schwarzenegger Commutes Sentence Of Powerful Politician's Son

The Ruling Class taking care of itself. His sentence was already too lenient.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, just hours from leaving office, on Sunday commuted the manslaughter sentence of Esteban Núñez, former Assembly Speaker Fabian Núñez's son.

Schwarzenegger reduced Núñez's sentence from 16 years to 7 years.

In May, Núñez and an accomplice pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the stabbing death of a college student at San Diego State University. They also admitted they used a knife and caused great bodily injury.

Assault with a deadly weapon? Where I come from, stabbing someone to death is called murder. He got off light already because of his father's influence, now he'll be back on the street in no time.
