Bad News for Library Pornographers

Bad News for Library Pornographers

Librarians will have one less outlet to disseminate pornography from now on.
Libraries used to be a place where parents could safely leave children to the world of books. When I was growing up, there was a library branch at the nearby shopping mall. My mother would drop my brother and me off at the library while she shopped. When she picked us up, we always had a load of wholesome books to keep us busy for a week or two.
You'd have to be crazy to do that now. Libraries not only have smutty books, such as Madonna's dirty picture book of a few years ago, but lately libraries have allowed children to access pornographic sites and have fought local efforts to prevent that.
Now the Supreme Court says the First Amendment is not trampled by such filters.
Now, how librarians and Larry Flynt will have to find another way to corrupt children.
