The Catholic School Offer Still Stands

A few years ago, the Catholic schools in New York City offered to take the worst students in the New York City school system and educate them for half of what the public school system pays per student. New York turned the offer down, knowing that the Catholic schools would deliver on its promise to do a better job at lower cost.
The New York schools are failing its students. The courts have ordered them to find a solution. Even though the Catholic schools have offered them a solution on a silver platter, you can bet they'll decline it again.
