Perhaps We Should Ban French Fries Instead

With great fanfare, and not a little class warfare breast beating, New York banned cell phones in cars, claiming that drivers distracted by cell phones were a traffic hazard. The result - a big nothing. Driving is no safer today than it was before the ban.
Maybe they should try banning drive through fast food. It's well known that eating in a car is more distracting than a cell phone.
