Trial lawyers continue to pull the strings of the Democratic Party. While malpractice insurance rates are prompting doctors to go on strike, the Democratic Party continues to do the lawyer's bidding by blocking legal reform aimed at limiting legal abuse.
Undoubtedly the big reason is that trial lawyers make up a big block of those million dollar plus donors that the Democrats are so addicted to. While Republicans are assumed to be the lapdogs of big donors, 92% of all million dollar political donations go to Democrats.
