Considering the momentum that product liability suits have gained, I doubt that pharmaceutical companies with want to touch what could be a miracle drug.
Chilean scientists have isolated a compound from Black Widow Spider venom that causes erections and inactivates sperm, permitting on-demand, pregnancy safe sex.
Why is that bait for lawyers? Well, if one gets a sexually transmitted disease because one was able to have sex thanks to a drug facilitated both the act and reduced the motive for wearing a condom, then the manufacturer could be held responsible for any diseases resulting from that sex. After all, if McDonald's can be sued for its customers' obesity then Pfizzer could certainly be blamed for diseases contracted as a consequence of unprotected sex its drug facilitated.
