Wasn't This Outlawed?

Wasn't This Outlawed?

The Chancellor of the University of California at Berkeley has been admitting "people of color" with SAT scores as low as 600, in violation of an initiative that outlawed racial preferences.
And now that he's been caught and reprimanded by the Board of Regents, he's mad.

"You have done the university a great disservice and shown open contempt for reasoned discourse about complex issues," said UC Berkeley Chancellor Robert M. Berdahl.

"Whatever his personal agenda is for writing such a letter ... my concern always has been and continues to be that the admissions policy of the University of California be legal and fair," answered John J. Moores, chairman of the UC Board of Regents.
