Sadly, too few Americans possess the attention span to remember why we went to war and this has permitted Democrats to lie about it. No, George Bush never did say that Saddam presented and "imminent threat" and his administration went to great lenghths to state the Saddam had no direct connection to 9/11. Nevertheless, he has been accused of stating both and accused of lying about it.
Christopher Hitchens reminds us of why we went to war and why we had to go to war. Sadly, I fear that too few Americans possess the attention span to read it all.
