Ted Kennedy Supports George W. Bush on WMD's

Once upon a time, Ted Kennedy opposed the war in Iraq because he believed that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction.

Teddy get two passes here. First of all, liberals are never held to account for what they said in the past. Nobody expects consistency any more than we expect marital fidelity or sobriety.

Secondly, there's that sobriety thing. Jim Beam takes a toll, which might explain why Ted Kennedy cast mistaken votes twice recently - supporting the war and banning partial birth abortion, until somebody filled him in and he changed his vote.
