Well, Dick Durbin abandoned that and compared US soldiers to Nazi storm troopers.

Meanwhile, Dick Durbin's antics seem not have attracted the attention of the New York Times. Clearly, the Times aims to protect idiots like Dick Durbin from his own mouth.
