Prosecutorial Nastiness

I firmly believe that Tom Delay's indictment will ultimately do the Democrat more harm than the Republicans. Ronny Earle's history will be put on trial and he can be proven guilty of prosecutorial abuse beyond the shadow of a doubt.

The Democrats used precisely the same accounting maneuver that Delay if accused of, during the same election cycle.

It's too bad that Delay isn't a representative from my home state, Washington. A few years back, our then attorney general and current governor created just such accounting tricks to permit the state's teacher union, the Washington Education Association, evade recently passed Washington state campaign finance laws.
