Senatorial Bipartisanship

In a rare display of bipartisanship, Democrats and Republicans came to together to ensure that the taxpayer gets screwed and that graft continues to flow into their own coffers.

Interestingly, Democrats were quick to blame George Bush for failing to fund infrastructure when a Minneapolis bridge collapsed. But, aren't they the ones who squander the public's money on crap like "field experiences" in Chesapeake Bay or "ice centers" in Utah?

If, as Arlen Specter argued, senator know their own state's best, then isn't it the fault of the Minnesota congressional delegation that the bridge fell?
