Television News - Too Shallow For Maria Shriver

Mrs Terminator had to give up her job as an NBC news correspondent when her husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, ran for governor. And now, she doesn't want to go back. Apparently the view from the sidelines taught her something the rest of us have known for a long time.

Maria Shriver, who reluctantly gave up her job as an NBC News correspondent after becoming California's first lady, says she's not going back. The reason: the media frenzy over Anna Nicole Smith's death. "It was then that I knew that the TV news business had changed and so had I," Shriver said last week.

I don't think that the media suddenly changed - just her perspective. Too me this looks like the same old news media we've always had.
