Lewis Lapham's Predictive Journalism

Okay, I admit that this is obscure, but I was somewhat amazed to learn that Lewis Lapham is launching his own magazine. Lewis Lapham is infamous for writing and publishing and account of the 2004 Republican National Convention, before the event took place.

As loathsome as I find Mr. Latham, I'll subscribe to his magazine if it will include stock quotes. I am nothing if not pragmatic.

Here is his famous article. Mind you, this appeared on the magazine rack before the doors to the convention had opened.

And remember that this "real journalist" continues to prosper in the world of mainstream journalism.
