Those who watched the Republican debate last week will recall the moment when the moderator, Des Moines Register Editor Carolyn Washburn, asked for a show of hands from the candidates on whether or not they believed that man-made global warming was a serious threat. When Fred Thompson asked to elaborate on his answer, she refused permission.

Here's how she remembers it now: "About half wanted to tackle global warming and about half chose not to talk about it."

Huh? No wonder we can't trust the MSM to report the news accurately. They can't even recall events in which they participated. She must be auditioning for a job with the Associated Press.
