Berkeley Declares War On The Marines
Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean's allies have been making quite a ruckus in Berkeley lately, with the encouragement of the Berkeley City Council.Maybe it's time to extend the Solomon Amendment. That would put the Democrats in quite a fix, considering that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have both said that they would enforce the Solomon Amendment.
More here. As one commenter noted, how would the media have treated this if pro-lifers had blockaded an abortion clinic? When I did a news search on CNN.com with the search words "Berkeley Marines" I got a hit on Fox News, but nothing on CNN. Is it any wonder that CNN is losing to Fox New?
