Impeached Texas Judge Burnishing His Credentials To Run For Congress?

The United States House of Representatives voted to impeach U.S. District Judge Samuel Kent of Texas. The last judge to be impeached, convicted and removed from the bench was Alcee Hastings, who is now a prominent Democrats in the House of Representatives.

Alcee Hastings is held in such high regard by his Democratic comrades that Nancy Pelosi tried to make him chairmen of the House Intelligence Committee, but was convinced by her less tone deaf colleagues not to make the appointment.
