Blue Christmas For Blue States

More Americans are voting with their feet, leaving the leaches to feed off each other and are moving to red states. The census results will be costing the bluest state at least one congressional seat.
As the Associated Press reports, the entire electoral map is shifting. ‘’The biggest gainer will be Texas, a Republican-dominated state expected to gain up to four new House seats, for a total of 36. The chief losers - New York and Ohio, are each projected by nongovernment analysts to lose two seats.”

“On balance,” the AP concludes, “the states Obama carried in 2008 are projected to lose six electoral votes to states that his GOP challenger, Sen. John McCain of Arizona, won.”

Don't assume that the increase in representation for Texas will be good for the GOP.
