Gas Prices Rise Faster Under Obama Than Carter

Marking the similarities between President Barack Obama's time in office and former president Jimmy Carter's is nothing new. But as of Monday, Obama has hit one more Carter benchmark - both saw gas prices double in their first term of office.

In fact, while just barely, Obama has seen an even higher gas price increase than Carter dealt with under his administration.

i agree with the blog on obama and carter in fact i have ran the numbers and if every one in america alone would stay away from the gas pumps for just one day the gas prices would fall over nite do to a 3 billion + dollar hit the major companies would take but in a country where driving is so impoetant to us its almost impossible to do but yet the goverment wont step in but can tell the majority of the nation to by health insurance or be fined or even say we will help bail out banks but not our citizans who are at or below poverty. i remember gas prices at a mear 35 cents a gallon and many others can recall lower prices than that so why not stop or cut back on over seas spending and help our selves out for a change in stead of sending billions of our dollars to a country who harbered a wanted terroist give a little back to the people of america send every us citizan over the age of 25 a goverment check of just a mear 20k and watch not only gas prices drop but unemployment as well will fall to nothing because the buissness world would have no choice but to hire more poeple do to increase in spending at the home front and if done it would end a lot of problems this country is having right now.......by working my tail off and yet still broke
