Apple Caves In To Green Extortonists

Even the world's largest company has to pay protection money to the world's most successful extortionists.
In a rare admission of mistake, Apple reversed course Friday to reinstate 39 computers, laptops and monitors to a key environmental registry following the uproar from green groups and governments and other institutions that buy electronics.

The reversal marked the end of a puzzling chapter for Apple, which decided to stop using an environmental certification program, called the Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool, run by the Green Electronics Council, a Portland, Oregon-based nonprofit.
Nonprofit my ass!
