Gwen Ifill Calls David Chalian "God's Gift To Journalism"

After he was caught on tape claiming that Republicans like to party while black people drown.

While conservatives were outraged when they heard Yahoo News’ DC bureau chief David Chalian remark that Republicans are “happy to have a party with black people drowning—a reference to the Republican convention taking place while Hurricane Isaac batters Louisiana—some of his fellow journalists rallied to his side.

Here are three political journalists who could not see what all the fuss was about.
