Megyn Kelly has Much Bigger Balls Than Lawrence O'Donnell

Lawrence O'Donnell showed no hesitation to smear Mormons during the 2012 presidential campaign. But he explained that he would never criticize Islam because he's afraid of Muslims

Meanwhile, Megyn Kelly refuses to back off from perfectly legitimate criticism of Islamic barbarism.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers "Scancal" Barely Casts a Shadow

Is this really all the Democrats have? As Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachman, Condoleeza Rice and many others have learned, when a woman rises to prominence within the Republican Party, Democrats unleash the real War on Women.

Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington’s Fifth Congressional District stands among the brightest stars in a very deep Republican talent pool. According to contemporaneous reports, she was seriously considered by John McCain as a vice presidential candidate in 2008. She has delivered the Republican response to Obama’s weekly addresses. She appears to have a very bright future, should she choose to remain in electoral politics.

So she must be destroyed.

But if the scandal that whipped up around her in recent weeks is the best her enemies have, then McMorris Rodgers should have a clear path to wherever her ambitions lead her.

Her great crime is that she failed to maintain a clear enough division between her staff’s congressional duties and her campaign activities. As such, she likely mingled taxpayer resources with partisan political resources.

If this fails to stir up outrage among those who do not already hate her, it could be that they see members of Congress frequently using government resources for partisan political purposes. They see a president who has traveled to and hosted many hundreds of partisan political fundraisers all at great public expense.

The previous Democrat president, William Jefferson Blythe Clinton III would rent out the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House in exchange for campaign contributions. He sold a plot at Arlington National Cemetery to a campaign fundraiser and granted a federal pardon to a fugitive who contributed lavishly to Clinton’s presidential library.

The idea that Cathy McMorris Rodgers conducted a debate practice in her government office hardly raises a ripple in the force nine storms of corruption that typically rage around Washington, DC.

As the Cathy McMorris Rodgers story unfolded, The Las Vegas Review Journal, the hometown newspaper of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Gomorrah), reported that Dirty Harry was being naughty again. He was caught using campaign funds to purchase $31,000 worth of costume jewelry from his granddaughter. He then gave the baubles to his staff.

In addition, the paper learned that several companies who benefit handsomely from Harry Reid’s control of the federal purse strings were planning generous contributions to his granddaughter’s theater troupe, even though these companies have no prior history of such donations. I’m sure they expect nothing in return.

Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.

In 2003 the Los Angeles Times published a scathing piece on Harry Reid’s penchant for showering great loads of taxpayer funds onto companies that hire his sons and sons-in-law, and pay them generously.

How does that measure up against McMorris Rodgers’ alleged crimes?

The same article reported that seventeen US senators and eleven members of the House of Representatives had spouses who worked either as lobbyists or consultants with companies that stood to benefit from laws and appropriations passed by the Congress.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Sodom) was one of those senators. As a Chairperson and Ranking Member of the Senate Military Construction and Appropriations subcommittee, she was able to steer billions of taxpayer dollars to Perini Corporation and URS Corporation, both owned by her husband.

She resigned from the subcommittee after her husband divested himself of his interests in those companies. Her work was done.

It’s a good thing that her staff was never caught using a government computer improperly!

The core of Democrat ideology holds that unless you are a white, male, heterosexual with a job, then you are a victim of those evil, white, male heterosexuals with jobs. As such, you need the Democratic Party to take revenge upon your oppressors, to seize and redistribute their earnings and to tilt the scales so that the victims of oppression can gain equality of outcome, regardless of effort or productivity.

The Democratic Party specializes in hatred and vitriol, but they reserve their most toxic venom for individuals from those demographics who dare to align themselves with an ideology that stands for individual opportunity and personal responsibility. Cathy McMorris Rodgers will have to understand that she will be held to a far higher standard than any Democrat. As such, she will have to be far more cautious than her Democratic counterparts.

And if you think they will someday leave you in peace, just look at the way they still treat Justice Clarence Thomas.

Chris Matthews Believes that the Declaration of Independence was Written in the 20th Century

Does anybody else remember when Chris Matthews ridiculed Sarah Palin for what turned out to be her correct recollection of Revolutionary War history? I do.

Well, look below for a taste of Chris Matthews' grasp of history.

Obama's Nobel Prize Winner Worsens Global Warming

Barack Obama appointed Nobel Prize-winning physicist Steven Chu as his first Secretary of Energy. Among his brilliant ideas was to paint roofs white, to reflect the sun's rays back into space. So, how's that working out?

Not so well.
A misguided and flawed federal government initiative could be costing Bangor residents and business owners untold dollars in wasted energy costs — and in a small way contributing to global warming.

Maine home and business owners are being told they should use white roofs as the standard in construction of new homes and buildings. White roofs are mandated in some parts of the U.S. and promoted as an energy-efficient means of reducing air-conditioning costs, which is absolutely true.

However, what often goes unmentioned is that there is a heating penalty associated with the use of white roofs in northern cities such as Bangor.

In southern locales, the bulk of a building’s energy bill is attributed to air-conditioning costs, and thus, a reflective white roof can be used effectively to lower energy usage. But in northern climates such as Maine, where the energy used to heat a building is many times greater than energy used on air-conditioning, a reflective white roof can notably increase energy usage and overall costs.

Seven Hilariously Ironic Press Releases from Leland Yee

Leland Yee showers himself with praise.
7. “I am proud to stand with the California Clean Money Campaign,” said Yee. “It is imperative that we update our laws to limit the influence of money in our political system. I look forward to working with the Clean Money Campaign, Common Cause, FPPC, League of Women Voters, and others as we develop legislation in 2013 to prohibit secret billionaires from trying to steal elections.”

6. “Many parents don’t realize that in the top selling games, the player actively participates in and is rewarded for violence, including killing police officers, maiming elderly persons, running over pedestrians, and torturing women and racial minorities.”

5. “Yee and the show’s host Phil McGraw both earned their Ph.D. in psychology – Yee in child psychology and McGraw in clinical psychology.”

4. “Laundering money through nonprofits in an attempt to avoid transparency is fundamentally undemocratic,” said Yee. “Our democracy should not be bought and sold in shady backroom deals. SB 3 will close this loophole and ensure that Californians are well aware of who is funding campaigns and ballot measures.”

Much better to launder money through Philippine Muslim terrorists.
3. Yee is the past recipient of the Sunshine Award from the Society of Professional Journalists, the Freedom of Information Award by the California Newspaper Publishers Association; Champion of Journalism Education Award by the California Journalism Education Coalition; Beacon Award by the First Amendment Coalition; and the Friend of Scholastic Journalism Award by the Journalism Education Association.

2. Now, rather than face reality and be part of the solution to the widespread proliferation of assault weapons in America, they attempt to pass the buck. More guns are not the answer to protecting our children, as evident by the fact that armed guards weren’t enough to stop the tragedy at Columbine High School. The NRA’s response is pathetic and completely unacceptable.

1. “The students and taxpayers of California deserve to know the level of Ms. Katehi’s involvement in this scandal,” said Yee. “It is very disturbing that such corruption happened under her watch and that she has been less than forthcoming in responding to these charges. There needs to be accountability.”

The Party Affiliation that Must not be Named

How can any remotely honest news organization fail to notice the obvious link among all these corruption case? #DemocraticParty
Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannon is facing public corruption charges after prosecutors said he solicited $48,000 in cash, airline tickets, a hotel room and the use of a luxury apartment as bribes from undercover FBI agents posing as developers. Cannon is the latest mayor of a large city to face a scandal in recent years.

What do Joe Biden and Planet Biden have in Common?
