Don Fowler: Left Wing Nutcase

Don Fowler is highly offended that a "right wing nutcase" recorded him joyously hoping for a catastrophic hurricane during the Republican National Convention.

"One doesn't anticipate that one's private conversation will be surreptitiously taped by some right-wing nutcase," said Fowler. "But that's the nature of what we're dealing with."

Here's what he was overheard as saying:

"The hurricane’s going to hit New Orleans about the time they start. The timing is -- at least it appears now that it’ll be there Monday. That just demonstrates that God’s on our side. [Laughter] Everything’s cool."

I dunno. I'm having a hard time mustering much sympathy for Fowler. It seems to me that only a left wing nutcase would be wishing for the destruction of New Orleans. A left wing nutcase like Don Fowler or Michael Moore.

Fowler joins Michael Moore and Keith Olbermann as Democrats who've been caught on video. No doubt bigwig Democrats feel the same way, but just haven't been caught.

At least he's honest. I'm sure that most Democrats are hoping that another category 4 hurricane hits New Orleans so that they can exploit it politically.
