Ted Kennedy's Regrets

Ted Kennedy felt such remorse for killing Mary Jo Kopechne that he just couldn't resist a good joke about it now and then.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy wrote in a memoir being published this month that he made terrible decisions after the 1969 car crash that killed Mary Jo Kopechne, but said he was never romantically involved with her and was haunted by that night for his entire life.

Oh yeah. I believe that. Especially after hearing this.

So far, I read nothing about him regretting his sexual assault on a cocktail waitress or this attempts to subvert US foreign policy through back channel communications with former Soviet dictator Yuri Andropov.
