Sonia Sotomayor Didn't Mean What She Obviously Said
But she assures us that she'll improve if she gets a big promotion, ultimate authority, and a job for life.
It's a good thing Sonia Sotomayor speaks Sotomayoran.
After week upon week in which plenty of other people on the planet interpreted Sotomayor's past comments, the Supreme Court nominee at last got a chance to deconstruct her own words Tuesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Fingers splayed, palms flat, hands bouncing up and then deliberately pressing down to the table, Sotomayor elaborated, clarified, expanded, retracted.
A summary of obviously racist bad reviews of Sotomayor here.

Ann Coulter: So Much For Wise Latinas
Ann Coulter doesn't have a particularly high opinion of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but makes the point that even Ginsburg has a hell of a lot more on the ball that Sonia Sotomayor.
As crazy as this is, even Ginsburg and the other dissenters made a big point of pretending there was some flaw in this particular test. None adopted Sotomayor's position that unequal test results alone prove discrimination.
This suggests that a wise Jewish lady, due to the richness of her life experiences, might come to a better judgment than a Latina judge would.
