And Let's Not Forget Bernardine Dohrn
While Obama's association with William Ayers has gained the most attention, we shouldn't forget that Ayers' wife is a special piece of work as well. She too was a terrorist with the Weather Underground. We can probably get a good taste of her character when she actually celebrated the Manson Family slaughter at the house of actress Sharon Tate.
"Dig it! First they killed those pigs and then they put a fork in their bellies. Wild!"

Not Just "Some Guy Who Lives In My Neighborhood"
That was Obama's dismissal of his association with terrorist William Ayers. That's not what he used to say.
It's interesting that the mainstream media have sent more reporters (one) to investigate Sarah Palin's claim that she could see Russia from Little Diomede Island than they have sent to Chicago to investigate Obama's association with William Ayers.

Who Is Bill Ayers?
Considering that it's been a few decades since Bill Ayers made his name, it's worth telling a couple of generations who this guy is. Here is a trailer for an upcoming documentary. I'll betcha that fewer mainstream media types will watch this than watched Fahrenheit 9/11.

Obama's Judgment Fails Him Again
Once again, the man who assures us that his infallible judgment more than compensates for his lack of experience has shown another lapse in that judgment.
"This isn’t the Tony Rezko I knew, but now he has been convicted by a jury on multiple charges that once again shine a spotlight on the need for reform. I encourage the General Assembly to take whatever steps are necessary to prevent these kinds of abuses in the future."
Let's see now, Tony Rezko, Jeremiah Wright, Michael Pfleger, John Murtha, unrepentant terrorists, and maybe his own wife.
Supposedly he was "right all along" regarding the Iraq War - Uh Oh!

Back When Barack Obama Was Only 47 Years Old
Powerline has audio of Obama friends Bernardine Dohrn and William Ayers from 2007 describing the ideology that apparently drew them to Barack Obama.
Isn't it amazing that the mainstream media, with it's enormous financial resources and its $15 million/year news anchors, could not uncover this themselves? It's amazing what you can overlook when you really put your mind to it.

Obama: Senator Tom Coburn Equivalent To A Terrorist
Barack Obama was finally asked to explain his friendship with William Ayers, an unrepentant domestic terrorist. He responded by comparing Ayers to his fellow US senator, Tom Coburn.
The fact is, is that I'm also friendly with Tom Coburn, one of the most conservative Republicans in the United States Senate, who during his campaign once said that it might be appropriate to apply the death penalty to those who carried out abortions.
Do I need to apologize for Mr. Coburn's statements? Because I certainly don't agree with those either.
But, of course, Hillary has her own terrorist problems.
After Mrs. Clinton criticized Mr. Obama for not severing all Ayers ties, Mr. Obama said, “By Senator Clinton’s own vetting standards, I don’t think she would make it, since President Clinton pardoned or commuted the sentences of two members of the Weather Underground.”
That referred to commutations by Mr. Clinton in January 2001, shortly before leaving office, for Linda Evans and Susan Rosenberg. Ms. Evans had been convicted of weapons and explosives charges connected with eight bombings in the mid-’80s and sentenced to 40 years in prison. Ms. Rosenberg had been charged in connection with a 1981 armed robbery in which two police officers and a security guard were killed, and was serving 58 years after being convicted of weapons charges in a 1984 case.
And, when she was first seeking political office, her husband bought votes for her in the Puerto Rican community by pardoning terrorists.
Update: Obama lied.
This is getting to be a habit with him.

Obama Should Be Known By The Company He Keeps
Andy McCarthy notes that the extremists who hang around Barack Obama are probably there because Obama feels right at home in their company.
This should give some idea regarding the change Obama has in mind for the US.

Obama's Ties To Domestic Terrorists
Hot Air has more on Barack Obama's schmoozing with Weather Underground bombers William Ayres and Bernadette Dohrn. It wasn't a one time meeting.
The Left and the media will just wave this away, but John Podhoretz asks a pertinent question that we all know the answer to.
[H]ere’s a thought experiment. What if John McCain had visited the Unabomber’s cabin? Or had been photographed with Terry Nichols? Or had stopped off at David Duke’s house at some point because he was gathering support and donors?
How big a story would that be?

Obama's Bad Company

Obama's attempts to portray himself as a fresh, moderate face just got a little more complicated as we now learn of his association with violent radicals.
While Ayers and Dohrn may be thought of in Hyde Park as local activists, they’re better known nationally as two of the most notorious – and unrepentant — figures from the violent fringe of the 1960s anti-war movement.
Now, as Obama runs for president, what two guests recall as an unremarkable gathering on the road to a minor elected office stands as a symbol of how swiftly he has risen from the Hyde Park left to a man closing in fast on the Democratic nomination for president.
“I can remember being one of a small group of people who came to Bill Ayers’ house to learn that Alice Palmer was stepping down from the senate and running for Congress,” said Dr. Quentin Young, a prominent Chicago physician and advocate for single-payer health care, of the informal gathering at the home of Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn. “[Palmer] identified him as her successor.”
Obama and Palmer “were both there,” he said.
Obama’s connections to Ayers and Dorhn have been noted in some fleeting news coverage in the past. But the visit by Obama to their home—part of a campaign courtship—reflects more extensive interaction than has previously reported.
