Still No Inspector General News At The New York Times

The New York Times has published precisely one article about Barack Obama's illegal firing of Americorps inspector general Gerald Walpin. And that article was only to repeat on Obama's since discredited excuse for breaking the law to serve a friend and political ally.

Meanwhile, the story keeps evolving in Obama's disfavor.

The inspector general fired by President Obama after concluding that a California project backed by a Democratic mayor misused at least part of $847,673 in federal grants said Tuesday he is fighting back to protect the integrity and independence of all government watchdogs.

"For a second I was thinking, 'Why do I need all of this?' I'll just resign and go back to my good legal practice in New York," Gerald Walpin told The Washington Times' "America's Morning News" radio show Tuesday.

"But I would then be part of the apparatus that is totally torpedoing the inspectors general," Mr. Walpin said. "The watchdog would not really be a watchdog. He'd just be afraid of his shadow."

Because the mainstream media are not about to report on this scandal, here's a good source for all information regarding Barack Obama's illegal firing of Inspectors General.

Gerald Walpin? Who's That?

After a week long news blackout, The New York Times finally let it readers learn about Barack Obama's illegal firing of Inspector General Gerald Walpin. And of course, they highlight Obama's claim that Walpin is senile.

Glenn Beck did something that would never occur to the Times. He gave Walpin the officially approved senility test.

New York Times Keeps Inspector General Scandal From Its Readers

I don't have to try hard to imagine how the New York Times would have reacted had George Bush, or any other Republican president illegally fired an Inspector General to benefit a friend and political ally. Unfortunately, I don't have to imagine how the Times would behave in the current case of Barack Obama doing just that.
The answer is nothing.

The New York Times has not yet published a single word about Barack Obama's illegal dismissal of Gerald Walpin.

This is, unfortunately, par for the course. The New York Times spiked the Obama/ACORN illegal campaign coordination story just as it was about to climax with revelations that might have cost Obama votes. New Yorkers who rely exclusively on the Times for their news still have no idea that their senior senator was involved in a politically motivated, illegal identity theft scandal.

I guess this latest story hasn't seen the light of day because it hasn't been spoon fed by Obama to the Times.

The Gerald Walpin/Kevin Johnson/Barack Obama Scandal Widens

FBI probes obstruction of justice claim by former St. HOPE official - Sacramento News - Local and Breaking Sacramento News | Sacramento Bee

The FBI's Sacramento division is investigating a former St. HOPE executive's allegations of obstruction of justice, Acting U.S. Attorney Lawrence G. Brown confirmed Tuesday.

The news fuels the controversy that has followed Mayor Kevin Johnson since 2008, when his brainchild St. HOPE Academy first was investigated for misuse of public funds.

That investigation appeared to end in April when Brown's office announced a settlement with Johnson, St. HOPE and former executive director Dana Gonzalez.

Obstruction of Justice In St. Hope Scandal?

Getting rid of Inspector General Gerald Walpin didn't get rid of Kevin Johnson's problems. It seems that there's an obstruction of justice investigation going on now.

Kevin Johnson probably doesn't have anything to worry about. After all, if the Black Panthers can get away with threatening voters with clubs, then Obama's Justice Department isn't likely to press the issue of a few deleted e-mails.

The New York Times Safely In Obama's Pocket

I did a quick search of the New York Times and found nothing. I was looking for one mention of the fact that Barack Hussein Obama illegally fired an Inspector General for political reasons.

Not that the Times needed any encouragement to do the Democrats' bidding, but just to be safe, Obama has made a point of hand feeding the Times.

Good doggy!
